Which piece are you interested in; the FK96 n/A, or FK16 ?

Hello

Honestly I am not sure, I am looking for the one mounted onto Daimler trucks for Anti-Tank roles, as well as anti-aircraft. It is also stated it was to be tried out on the A7V MITT ZWEI prior to the fit of the Russian 7.62 cm.

Does this help??

Thanks for any help.

There are two weapon systems that are specific to your search; both of which I've described here in earlier treads.  Assuming you can't find them,   I shall contact you via your Email tomorrow with  details.

The IWM piece is a 7,7cm Model 1914 Rheinmetall . ( Taken from a destroyed Ehrhardt platform truck).

Tim, I've been out of town , and did not have access to my files.  The weapon system you are seeking is the Krupp 7,7cm Model 1914.   This gun was fitted to the Daimler platform truck, and served in the BAK/Flak role throughout the war.

Tim,

i have, i think, 3 photos i took of the gun in the IWM. unfortunately my attempts to post a link to the photos are (have been so far) unsuccessful.

they can be found by searching for (and it isnt porn!!! just a tribute to the drummer from motorhead) 'philthydirtyanimal photos' and then there is a separate folder for this gun
