Hi All

Here is my update on my garford putlov, an armo kit in 1/35

almost done except the bottom weathering

this was my first resit kit, I had a lot of fun with it, especially since you need to scratch build lots of stuff like the steps towards the drivers door.

Nice model, Eugene, with lot's of "Great War" character. It really cries out for a figure or two to give this big vehicle a sense of scale. Could you translate the inscription?

Rhomboid,

I am planning to put it in dio, which would be my first as well!

There is no direct translation but its something on the lines of "thunder striker" (first word means thunder, second fight) with connotations of intense power, in other words intimidating!

Zvezda makes a fairly inexpensive set of early WW2 Russian infantry (in Adrian helmets), which would likely form the basis for simple conversions to Czarist-era figures. The attachment shows a diagram of the WW1 Russian personal equipment.

I have a color plate of Russian armored corps soldiers. mechanics and officers, so that shouldnt be a problem I need to find good figures, ill check the zvezda ones

Nice model, Eugene. "Thunder striker", is that something like Thor?

My recently made Garford. This is Armo model with some additions.  I made barbette which is missing on the model, change the roof above sponsons. I was not able to make new turret because it should be half open so I closed it with tarpaulin made from the toilet paper. Mane other small things, like handles, steps, head lights etc.

More pictures on my model page link.

Amazing vehicles on your website!  Are they resin kits?  If so, does anyone in Western Europe or North America stock them?
