WW1 10.5cm German Howitzer war trophy
Permalink

If you would like to visit a website that has the story with a heap of pictures of the restoration project we have been doing on a WW1 10.5 cm German Howitzer, an Aussie War trophy, then the link has been changed. The link on the Landships WW1 Artillery page heading is still connected to the old link.

If you would like to see all the little bits of one of these guns which we have totally striped (minus the recuperator) and have now almost got it back together and movable go to

and under the link Articles you will find it..

Happy viewing

Is the link in the "Links"-department correct or wrong?

Peter,

I am not sure what you call the "links department". The link I am refering to I emailed (direct)Tim about sometime ago (when I also offered to find out if Col Jager would mind me giving Tim his address to find out about this gun photographed on a railway truck in his book, being used for anti aircraft work.)

This is a link on the top of the page in - On WW1 Artillery - Arillery of the Great War - German Guns - (German 10.5cm leichtes Feldhaubitze 16 Walkaround

- courtesy of Ivan Stefanovic and Jon Hornbostel) - 10.5cm leichte Feldhaubitze m16.

And if you want to follow an restoration of a genuine trophy lFH16 down under in Australia, click here

When you click on this link you get

The new link to this website is as above in my first post.

I posted this on the forum as I have not heard from Tim after a cuple of emails so he must be a busy boy.
