Yes, as you all can see, the Forum has been changed.
1. We now have sub-categories. Post in the most appropriate one. (Please do NOT post in the old Forum. These postings will hopefully be transferred to appropriate new sub-catogories. But it will take TIME!!!!)
2. It looks to me that most of the old type attachments (where you got a link, not a thumbnail) are now gone. All the IMG /IMG postings are there. If you are into longevity, and hate posted attachments suddenly go AWOL, go for this more complicated method of posting photos.
3. A small new function: Private Messages. Registered users can now in an easy way shoot private messages to each other. Just click on the name of the person, and you will se that as an alternative. Already tried it. Works nicely!

A small notice: I will try and sort all the old posts (now found in the... yes "Old Posts" category) into the proper new categories.
This work will take LONG time, and as I must run other parts of the site as well, it has not high priority. But it will happen, eventually.
Perhaps there is some volunteer out there, willing to sort through all these old post?
It's a dirty job, but someones gotta do it. And it is really a boon to the Forum - the number of good postings and threads I've seen is amazing. You tend to forget...
oops I think this forum mishap shows us how important it is to have our articles in other places i will start to put more stuff into the mini wiki we have.
Posts in the old forum are getting moved over bit by bit. If anyone thinks that a post has been moved to an incorrect area, please either make a post here or send me a message and I'll move it to the right area.
