And the Poles marched too? That is a great gesture by both sides. And Angela Merkel attended as well? There is some progress in the world I think.

I recall the ANZAC day march in Tom Price (town) in 1970 - it was lead by Len Selby representing the Royal Navy jointly with Otto Huwald representing Kaiserliche Marine. People loved that - I think they/we have perhaps been ready for it a long time, long before our political and community 'leaders'.
