The scale is 4mm=1foot which after the debates (!!!) we have had it equates to 1:76.

When you consider the scale they are amazing models. Alex is truly a very talented guy.

Absolutely super for this scale!

What are the figures and the gun done from - certainly not from the old Airfix set?

The figures and the gun (18pdr) are from my range (W^D).I have had problems with the 18pdr,but have Ian doing some handwheels for me. Hopefully available soon.

I think those are W^D Models figures, with a W^D Models 18-pdr. I am not sure about the howitzer, or the Simplex locos.

Excellent work.

I was going to say that!

So did Alex scratch build the wagons (or bogies, or whatever they are called) that are holding the guns?

The WDLR bogies are from Parkside Dundas models,as well as the bogies they also do the D&E class wagons.Alex has cut down one of these for the Howitzer wagon.

The locos are both Simplex's the open one is the Nigel Lawton kit the other is the Meridian protected simplex on an Arnold Kof chassis. Both are motorised.
