There are tons of articles on the moving from APG. I used Google earth to locate the pieces that arrived at Ft. Lee. They're all on Railroad Ave by the construction site, and a few in the woods to the right.
I guess all I'm asking is does anyone know of a museum or a building schedualed to be opened for them all?
The Fort Lee Ordnance Museum will not have all of the pieces formally exhibited at the Aberdeen P.G. Ordnance Museum. Many of the artillery pieces have been shipped to Fort Sills new Artillery Museum (as opposed to the Ft. Sill Post Museum).Examples that I am aware of are the German WW2 Era 10cm Kanone 18 and I believe the 10cm Kanone 39. Acquisitions of this type have greatly improved the holdings of the Artillery Museum at Fort Sill in the last few years. New management and the separation of the Post and Artillery Museums have also greatly helped.
