HaT British 4.5 inch Howitzer and WW1 British Artillery crew

Has anyone seen either of the above, and able to recommend them? Not able to see via the search function if this has been discussed before. Especially interested as to the quality of the British heads with the Wolseley helmets

I have them. The guns are good. The crew is good. Not up to W^D Models standard, but still good. The Wolseley is difficult to do right, but these don't go too far wrong. I'd say 95%.

RCD has used one of the Wolseley heads in this dio:

Yes, I linked to that picture just for the Wolseley pith helmet on the (also Emhar) figure in the bottom left. It's hard to judge how good or bad the pith helmets are until you see them painted.

Not Sure about the Wolseleys - the back seems too short, and also rounded whereas it should be more squared off

Since I have had not only a mention but also a correction W^D Howitzer and the gun crew. The gun is yet to be weathered etc.

For me the British artillery crew are one of the best from HaTs' Great war range. I think the figures in shirt sleeves look great but why do they always do the officiers minus his Brodie and waving his hand in the air! I like to potter and this set has proved great for conversions. Clearly I am not up to the standard of the outstanding modellers found on this site but it keeps me occupied! At least the Emhar 18pdr can have a crew now.

The three pictures are

my version of the 4.5"

Early French 75mm - grat use for redudant ACW figures!

Late French 75mm.

(sorry about the quality of the photos )

Just the American 75mm to go!
