Now you can see the my 155iger in scale 1:72...

Today I`m ready for airbrushing...the kit is very fine and one of the best by Retrokit/ -tracks for my meaning...

The chains and bails for recoil will be fixed after brushing...

Hello,

The kit is beautiful BUT the 155 L "cingoli" had 12 "patins", I count only 11 on your kit?
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

I can see now that "patins" means "feet". In English we would describe these wheels as "footed". ("Boydell Feet", IIRC)

Is the model supplied with one too few patins, or is that just the way it has been assembled?

Doesn't matter too much to me, I still think this is a great looking model of an interesting subject. It's definitely on my wish list.

Thank you for showing the pics, Stefan.

Hello,

Thank you for the translation in english of "patins".
The offical name for "patins" in french regulations ("Règlement" and "Instruction" on cingoli use "emploi des ceintures de roues") is "plateau" but the term "patin" is more often used in many books.
I agree: this model of the 155 L is "a great looking model"!
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Another problem was encountered when assembling the "cingoli" belt system on the wheels. Instructions call for 12 shoes, however the parts needed trimming to make that many fit to the wheel.

If I take a look to pics of the following link, I can`t understand the construction of the "feets", cause you can see that this "underprofil" of the feets are strong to the wheel. On original pics you can see, that this "profil chain" had a lot of place and was very laxly. But on this pic you can also see the 12 feets. I create this "profil chain" very laxly, but there were no place for one more...

As usual an amazing piece of work. It is so good to see my figures in a dio like this.

Makes all the hassle worth while.

@baldwin

I only can say, that so good models, items and figures like yours and also Domi make it possible to create a nice diorama...wink

So it is always a good thing for every modeler to use so fine things. It is terrible to work on a bad kit or figures...
