And here too - http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1926

I happen to have been looking for some recently as well and those Poilu and I have mentioned seem to be the best.

Thanks chaps - Barry, looking forward to the details. 'Bare' mules are particularly useful as, if I can find a suitable model, I want to add bits of a mountain gun to them

https://www.furnacecreekresort.com/shop/feature-products/20-mule-team-kit.html I've seen this discussed on the HaT Forum, and I gather it's still available. Twenty mules in 1/67 scale. Main site is Muleteamkits.com

Hello all,
are there any good mules in 1/16 or 1/35 scale? I hope they are not too expensive.

The poll was inconclusive. The vote was split more or less equally, and there were very few actual votes amongst the thread hijacks.

I have a short list of plastic sets that contain mules:

Matchbox P5008 ANZAC Infantry

Italeri Italian Mountain Troops

Waterloo 1815 WWII US Mountain Troops

Imex Mexican Cavalry At The Alamo

Airfix German Mountain Troops

Pegasus California Gold Miners

And B.U.M. have recently released two sets (WW2 Japanese), although these may be pirated figures

Some shops sell individual figures, so you don't, necessarily, have to buy the whole set.

Will take me a while to find but I do have some of a mule wearing a sort of saddle for 18 pounder shells with them slotted vertically along each side

Here we go, a Mule re-enactor! Photos taken back in 2008. Bear in mind though that the mule pictured, named Meg, is famous for being a rather tall mule so bear that in mind for scale! The gentleman who owns Meg does WW1 living history of very high standard so have no doubts that the equipment is spot on;

Have acquired manuals for the 2.75 inch mountain gun and 3.7 inch mountain howitzer - chock full of plans, more than enough to build a model of either weapon, and includes details for mule transportation, let me know if anyone would like scans
