Thanks chaps - Barry, looking forward to the details. 'Bare' mules are particularly useful as, if I can find a suitable model, I want to add bits of a mountain gun to them

I've seen this discussed on the HaT Forum, and I gather it's still available. Twenty mules in 1/67 scale. Main site is Muleteamkits.com

Regarding the 2.95 inch mountain gun, it was for use for Empire troops ie African or Indian only and saw little service I believe in WW1 as those units ended up getting the 10 pounder, 2.75 inch and 3.7 inch guns

Here we go, a Mule re-enactor! Photos taken back in 2008. Bear in mind though that the mule pictured, named Meg, is famous for being a rather tall mule so bear that in mind for scale! The gentleman who owns Meg does WW1 living history of very high standard so have no doubts that the equipment is spot on;

Received manuals for the 2.95 inch mountain gun (the one used by empire forces) and the 10 pounder mountain gun, including mule details - please e-mail me if interested in copies
Have acquired manuals for the 2.75 inch mountain gun and 3.7 inch mountain howitzer - chock full of plans, more than enough to build a model of either weapon, and includes details for mule transportation, let me know if anyone would like scans
