Russian uniform paint color

I am building Hats 76mm M1902 Putilov gun and a crew but I am not sure what color to paint the gun crew uniforms. Where I live I have access to Tamiya, Model Master ,Vallejo and Citidal paints. Thanks for your help.

Hi, If using Vallejos' then I would go for brown-sand for the trousers and maybe off-white for the shirt as the main base colours

I haven't painted mine yet, but I'm tempted to use 9123 Khaki Highlight for the shirts, and 9127 Uniform Brown for the trousers. (Reaper Master Series)

Thanks PDA, I want to put them on a base with the Putilov gun but the colors had stoped me until now.

Hi John,
As i have just done a number of 1/35th scale ww1 russian solderies, i use Howard Hues paints, these are acrylic and he does russian ww1 uniform colour no. 1073,
and you can find these at www.noblemins.com.
