Tank crew and tactics

Have managed to leave my Osprey German Panzers book about 100 miles away but not sure it would help answer these anyway - a friend is asking about the crew roles for the A7V, and also the standard tactics of German tank crews during WW1 - can anyone help or point me to an online source?

Thanks, Rob

I like it... but sadly I doubt the chaps after the information will use it, they're WW1 German living historians who will be portraying A7V crew at Tankfest at the end of this month. Don't think they'll manage all 18 though, but we should be easily able to sort out enough to crew the British Mk IV!

As for standard tactics, I doubt if there were any.

To explain pzkfw-e's pic, I think that breaks down as:

1 driver
1 commander
1 gunner
1 loader
12 on MGs - two per MG
2 riding mechanics - presumably one per engine.
