Hello,

        I am currently making a technical list of the weapons that Imperial Germany planned to use or was about to use in 1919 (for private purposes only).  I was wondering if anyone has any information on the 88mm field gun, as I have only seen it mentioned briefly in a few posts on this forum.  I was also wondering if anyone knows of any infantry weapons, gas masks/ new filters, ersatz items etc. that would have been used in 1919 - and any technical information about them.  I already know about the MG 18 TuF, 20mm cannons, LK, etc tanks, all airplanes, torpedo gliders, submarines and unmanned flying bombs.

      Another question I have is; did the Germans ever plan or intend to drop poison gas from airplanes.  I mean how hard would it be to acquire a few Yellow Cross ( Dichloroethylsulphide, Ethyldichloroarsine) artillery shells and drop them over the side of an airplane.  I thought I read something a long time ago about poison gas being dropped in glass spherical bottles, but can not find it again.  Also did the Germans plan to introduce any new gases in 1919 - for example Adamsite ( it was first produced by a German chemist ).

There were Rheinmetall and Krupp designs for new infantry guns being trialled at the end of the war. Both guns were new designs with no relationship to the FK 96 n.A

so they don't appear in the article on FK 96 n.A derivatives. I believe the Krupp gun was adopted in modified form by the Reichswehr in the 1930s. If there is interest in these

guns I'll try to dig out some information on them.
