Having finally managed to get hold of a Mister X conversion set i will get on with converting an Emhar.

There are a couple of questions that someone out there will be able to answer

1. Was there an escape hatch at the front of the tank like the MkI/II supply tanks?

2. I suspect there was but  which way does it open - hinges to the front or back?

Yes, there was a hatch above the commander on the port side. Hinges to the front. If you used the cab roof from the Airfix it would be very, very close.

In 1917 the MG would have been Lewis, in 1918 the MG was Hotchkiss.

They did have unditching gear, but couldn't use it if the stores were in the way.

Thanks for the quick reply. You have confirmed what I expected. Will probably use the emhar tadpole as I have a few more ideas for the future.
