So I have been working on this project for a couple of months, I just wanted to post some project photos so far. I started this project because I have always been interested in how a WW1 tank functioned and operated.
There aren’t so much positive reactions up to now (I know that from my own 3d project) to your model here. As I am not so familiar with the Mk. IV I can’t judge your work in detail. But as I am doing3d constructions as well, I can see that you have done a very fine job with your program. What program are working with?
May be you will scroll down a bit and you will see some similar approaches that might be inspiring…
Keep up your good work!
Cheers,
Peter

Thank you for the compliments, I very much appreciate it as I am trying to create an accurate interior for an Mk.IV tank. I am using a free open-source program called Blender, it is quite easy and intuitive to use, as well as this, there are a lot of resources that can help you get started with the program, such as free tutorials.
Yes, I do intend to 3D print it using resin, the interior is designed for an Mk.IV takom male. Obviously, you might need to do a little bit of work before you can start applying the interior pieces by cutting out holes in the main frame.
I do not want to repeat myself, but this ia absolute tremendous work you are showing here! BTW. are you going to offer it for sale one time (There is still a little voice in the back of my mind that making me firmly believe that I will do a Freikorps Beute Tank one day... )?

While this is currently a passion project, I do eventually want to try making my own kits as many people have emailed me and messaged me about it being on sale. However, It probably wont be a full exterior kit but rather an upgrade kit for specific brands.
As for production of said kits, I have a couple of resin printers at home I use for prototyping some of my other projects which could be put to use for making these interior kits. As for shipping, I got no clue.
However, I did hear about takom re-releasing their WW1 kits with new molds, but I am unsure about the legitimacy of these claims. Nevertheless, it is good news for WW1 armor modellers!
