Sorry I'm a bit late with this response, but no, I'm not having any problems with L2. Maybe it has corrected itself?

Yep, looks good from here. A useful check when wondering "just me or the world?" is
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.landships.info

In most instances of inability to connect the problem will be the local machine (you) or the local network (your service provider or their routing provider) and that test will (usually) show that. Maybe worth bookmarking that one.

A more comprehensive check, trying from different parts of world in case it is just a localised fault (which is better news than the alternative) is
http://just-ping.com/index.php?vh=www.landships.info&c=&s=ping!

Those above checks just show if the landships server is alive. To see if it is actually delivering content, there is a link at the bottom of the just-ping results which checks the website index page loading/handling from a number of global locations.

Any time it fails the last test, indicating a general server fault, something more in the webmaster's area of responsibility, Charlie would, no doubt, appreciate a "heads up" message - http://landships.activeboard.com/m1183125/profile/ Not for everyone perhaps and (touch wood) quite a rare occurrence. The miracle of the internet is not so much that it works well but that it works at all
